The market leader among system caterers in Germany has joined the new QS standard for system catering.

The new QS guideline ‘Systemgastronomie und Gemeinschaftsverpflegung’ (at present only available in German ) contains requirements that affect not only local restaurants, but also corporate headquarters. The core topics of the new standard are traceability and sustainability.

This new quality standard enables restaurateurs to offer their guests meat products with the ITW (Initiative Tierwohl) seal of approval.

McDonald's has always paid attention to the highest quality standards and monitors the entire production chain of its products through its own controls and through independent testing laboratories. Therefore, it is easy for the German headquarters to fulfil the requirements of the new QS guidelines.

It won't be long before other system caterers follow the market leader's example. The management of QS Qualität und Sicherheit GmbH will be delighted.

YOUR PLUS: AGROLAB food laboratories are system partners of QS Qualität und Sicherheit GmbH and support member companies of the food and feed industry that are certified according to the QS standards or are striving to achieve this with their analytical services.
