Do you remember 2021? In that year, we reported in AGROLAB RADAR on a total of 20 EU regulations concerning changes in maximum residue limits for plant protection products in the fruit and vegetable sector.
2023 will be a similar regulatory year. There will be at least 18 new regulations with changes to at least 76 active substances.
This means that we will again publish long active substance/product tables in RADAR as soon as the new regulations have entered into force.
At the end of last year, 12 draft regulations for 2023 were finally adopted by the Standing Committee of the EU Commission (SCoPAFF). We therefore expect the corresponding publications in the EU Official Journal for a total of 49 active substances to be published shortly.
A further 6 regulations have already been published in 2022, covering a total of 27 active substances. We would like to remind you of the four regulations with MRL changes that will come into force in February 2023. (see AGROLAB RADAR 09/22).
YOUR PLUS: We will continue to monitor the legal situation and will keep you informed of relevant changes for the fruit and vegetable sector in 2023 in the AGROLAB RADAR.
