Ochratoxin A (OTA) is a mycotoxin produced by fungi of the genera Aspergillus and Penicillium and is present as a contaminant in food and its maximum permitted level in food is regulated within the EU.
In COMMISSION Regulation (EU) 2022/1370 of 5 August 2022
amending Regulation (EC) No 1881/2006 as regards maximum levels for ochratoxin A in certain foodstuffs, some maximum levels have been amended and new rules for foodstuffs not previously mentioned have been added in Annex 2 to entry 2.2:
