The authorisation for the use of the following active substances will expire sooner than originally decided. As a rule the maximum residue limits are also subsequently reduced to the limit of determination.
The EU Commission reduced the period of approval for certain actives by regulation 2020/1643 with effect from Oct. 26th, 2020 retroactively. The member states in which the active ingredients were used must now in turn withdraw the authorizations for plant protection agents at latest by 04/26/2021 Remaining stocks must be used up by 04/26/2022. The maximum residue limits will probably be reduced to 0,01 mg/kg in the near future.
