The Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs honours the fastest-growing medium-sized companies with this award.
On 23 July 2024, Bavaria's Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger and Prof. Dr. Thomas Edenhofer, a juror from Baker Tilly GmbH, presented the ‘Bavaria's Best 50’ award to 50 medium-sized companies at Schleißheim Palace. This business award from the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology is presented annually to Bavarian companies that have been able to increase their number of employees and sales above average in recent years.
The main selection criteria are also economic stability and the future viability of the respective companies. In this context, good profitability, equity ratio and future prospects were also emphasised. The fact that the growth in sales and jobs has not only been achieved through acquisitions, but also through organic growth, is also one of the competition criteria.
