AGROLAB has met the challenges of the changeover to the new accreditation standard with flying colours. Almost half a year before the expiry of the extended transition periods, the standard transition process of all laboratories was successfully completed.
Thus, all sites of the AGROLAB GROUP have been accredited as competent testing laboratories according to EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 or in accordance with the respective national translation of this international standard by the respective national accreditation bodies.
For all German AGROLAB sites, this is associated with the deferral of accreditation certificates in accordance with the ruling of the Federal Administrative Court (BVerwG) on the time limitation of accreditations of 19 September 2018. German accreditation certificates therefore no longer bear a validity date.
Analytics from professionals: customers can trust AGROLAB's expertise
AGROLAB thus demonstrates its ability to provide its customers with internationally recognised, state-of-the-art expertise. Customers can be confident that in the globalised competitive environment, AGROLAB GROUP laboratory services are recognised and meet the latest standards.
AGROLAB laboratories are state-approved in the legally regulated area
Accreditation according to EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is the prerequisite for the state recognition of laboratories in the legally regulated area. AGROLAB continues to be fully recognised due to the early successful transition of the standard.
Whether water, waste, soil or immission protection - in the areas regulated by law, the AGROLAB GROUP sites provide their analytical services without restriction.
Customer orientation is very important at AGROLAB
AGROLAB builds on the strong pillars of industrial processes, the use of IT systems and customer orientation. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has placed a strong focus on the risk-based approach in the revision of the standard. The introduction of measures to minimise risks is in the foreground. The process- and thus also risk-based control of workflows has long been a high priority at AGROLAB. Consistent optimisation of all processes and the implementation of digitalisation in all areas of daily laboratory work significantly reduce risks. AGROLAB customers thus benefit from even more safety and continuous improvements at all levels of the management system.
Current accreditation certificates according to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 continue to be valid until 30 June 2021
The deadline for the transition of accreditation according to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 to ISO/IEC 17025:2017, originally valid until 30 November 2020, has been extended until 1 June 2021 due to the Corona pandemic. The European Commission has therefore also extended the period of validity of the "old" laboratory standard EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005. Accordingly, accreditation certificates according to EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 will only lose their validity on 1 July 2021.
